Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers is seeking a Counselor in our Georgetown, OH office to support patients on their recovery journey. The role emphasizes compassionate care within our evidence-based treatment framework and requires active OH counseling licensure.

You will handle intake, treatment planning, documentation, and group sessions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• GED/High School diploma or higher.
• CDCA or higher certification in Ohio.
• Supervision plan required if <1 year experience.
• CDCA or higher certification or licensure in OH.
• Licensed Social Worker or higher licensure in OH.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries and other essential documentation per standards.
• Provide orientation regarding program objectives, phase requirements, rules and rights.
• Assess and place patients according to treatment phases per policy.
• Maintain clinical documentation and patient charts per procedures.
• Counsel patients in crisis and refer to appropriate resources.
• Complete intakes, facilitate group sessions, and participate in team reviews.
