Job summary

Moog is offering a spring block internship for Actuation Engineering in Torrance, CA. The intern will work onsite and contribute to developing new products and assemblies under the Engineering Manager's guidance.

Qualified students must be enrolled in an Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering program with at least a 3.0 GPA and be willing to relocate for the internship. Strong communication and teamwork are expected within a collaborative Moog U.S. Internship Program.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Bachelor's or Master's program.
• GPA of at least 3.0; department will specify exact GPA.
• Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
• Moog U.S. Internship Program expects professional disposition, communication, teamwork and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the successful development of new products, components, or assemblies.
• Work on conceptual or detail design, proposal design, or part selection and write technical reports.
• Provide technical support to engineers as needed.
• Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals.
• Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.
