MYR Group Inc. is seeking an Accountant II to support the general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting processes. The role involves posting journal entries, performing reconciliations, and providing audit support in a collaborative, leadership-driven environment.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles.
Experience preparing documentation and support for internal/external audits.
Ability to analyze financial data and resolve routine issues independently.
Experience with general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Responsibilities

Prepare and post routine journal entries and supporting documentation.
Perform monthly account reconciliations and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and financial statement preparation.
Prepare financial calculations and analyses for projects and communicate findings to leadership.
Maintain accurate documentation to support accounting conclusions and internal controls.
