Job summary

GOJO Industries in Wooster, Ohio, seeks a Maintenance Engineering Technician for the 3rd shift to install, maintain, and repair packaging machinery and related systems. You will interpret drawings, test equipment, and perform preventive maintenance per engineering instructions on site.

The role requires 5–8 years in maintenance/manufacturing tech, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to work with safety procedures and GMP guidelines on a mostly on-site basis.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5–8 years of progressive maintenance/manufacturing engineering technology experience.
  • On-site work with travel between campus locations in Northeast Ohio as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment using electrical and electronic test equipment.
  • Recommends and reviews preventative maintenance routines.
  • Detects and diagnoses equipment malfunctions and develops repair plans.
  • Dismantles defective machines and installs repaired parts following specifications.
  • Fabricates and assembles new or modified mechanical/electrical components.
  • Maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and repairs gauges/valves.
  • Sets up test procedures and records results; conducts IQ/OQ/PQ testing.
