Job summary

System One in Portage, MI is seeking an Associate Engineering Technician for the 2nd shift. This onsite contract role runs 2:00pm–10:30pm, Monday through Friday, with compensation of $25–$29 per hour.

You will provide technical support to engineers, assist with evaluations and root-cause investigations, prepare engineering reports, and ensure procedures are followed. A high school diploma or GED is required, and recent engineering-focused graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Recent college graduates with a focus in Engineering accepted.
• Basic understanding of technical procedures and engineering work practices.
• Ability to follow established procedures and make decisions based on defined guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to engineers and scientists on engineering and technical tasks.
• Develop and recommend technical procedures and methods following established guidelines.
• Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation.
• Perform technical evaluations to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Execute technical work in accordance with defined procedures and work instructions.
