PTC invites you to join its 10-week US Summer Internship Program, a hands-on experience with Onshape deployment and monitoring. You will work on projects that directly impact deployment infrastructure and platform reliability, while learning in a fast-paced environment with real engineering responsibilities.

As an intern, you’ll be treated as a full team member, collaborate on solutions, and gain exposure to code review and debugging across the Onshape platform in a US-based operation.

Formación

• Must be enrolled in a degree program in Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Comfort with exploring unknowns in a system and researching solutions.
• Experience working with Linux.
• Basic knowledge of Python.

Your Impact

You will help with improving the tooling and continuous deployment environment of the Onshape platform. Interns will work on several projects throughout their time that will be used immediately to deploy/monitor and improve many aspects for the Onshape platform.

Your Team

You will be part of a team that is responsible for developing solutions that improve the automated deployment, monitoring and alerting of the onshape platform. We treat interns like full time systems engineers who just happen to be around for a shorter period of time, so an intern will be a full‑fledged team member with many of the same responsibilities as a full‑time engineer.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Develop new code to improve Onshape deployment infrastructure
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify, design and implement solutions.
• Participate in the code review process both as reviewer and reviewee
• Fix bugs both in your new code and in existing code

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled in some type of degree program in one of the following or related fields: Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science.
• Comfort with getting into the unknowns of a system and researching solutions.
• Experience working with Linux
• Simple knowledge of python

PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which include a candidate’s background and experience, in determining salary for a position. Compensation will vary based on these factors, but PTC anticipates the hourly range for this position to be between $32- $36 The actual pay may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
