OSU Oregon State University is seeking a part-time teaching assistant for the College of Business. The TA will support the instructor by grading student discussion posts and providing timely, constructive feedback. Grading is conducted online via Canvas, with confidentiality maintained for all student records.

The role involves about 5 hours per week, with a pay rate of $16.55 per hour. Applicants must be enrolled as students and may have prior TA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study.
• Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment.
• Graduate student status not required; undergraduate and graduate students may apply.

Responsabilités

• Grade student discussion posts using established rubrics and grading criteria.
• Provide timely, constructive, and professional feedback to students.
• Monitor discussion participation and identify students who may need additional support.
• Communicate with the instructor regarding student questions, concerns, or recurring areas of confusion.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and course records.
• Complete grading responsibilities within established deadlines.
