Job summary

Goodwill Olympia is seeking a Full Time Online Store Support in our Olympia, WA location. The role focuses on sorting and selecting online-appropriate items from the store flow, with non-remote duties and hourly compensation of $17.13.

Responsibilities include coordinating with staff to send collectibles and apparel to E-Sales weekly, plus packing and shipping items. Basic computer and email skills are required, and prior retail or online sales experience is helpful.

Hourly Rate: $17.13 per hour
Position Summary:

The Online Store Support are responsible for the sorting and selection of online appropriate items from the store product flow.THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.

$17.13 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Online Store Support responsibilities Includes the following and other duties as assigned:

  • Working with staff to ensure collectable, online appropriate items are sent to E-Sales weekly and for accurate tracking, packing and shipping of items
  • Requires basic computer and e-mail skills, collectables, apparel, and electronics product knowledge.
  • Antique store experience and prior supervisory experience are all helpful in ensuring both product knowledge as well as indications of candidate’s ability to work in a non-supervisory role relying on peer partnerships and teamwork
  • Work in congruence with teammates in order to meet store goals
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
  • Knowledge of popular items for sale second hand on the online market is a must;
  • Previous experience selling items online preferred;
  • Have organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks;
  • Be reliable and work a flexible schedule based on business needs;
  • Be coachable and reliable want to grow and have Communication Skills;
  • Ability to be a vital part of a team as well as work individually;

Ability to navigate through multiple program screens and easily use a computer, keyboard, mouse, 10-key and touchscreen.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Will constantly lift 1-15 pounds, frequently lift 15-20 pounds, and occasionally up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
