Job summary

USC Gould School of Law is seeking an instructor to develop curriculum for and teach our new online Sports Law & Representation (LAW-879, 2 units) class as part of the Master of Studies in Law in Sports Law and Negotiation. Candidates should have a strong professional background, preferably with law school or online teaching experience.

The instructor will collaborate with instructional designers, work ~10–15 hours/week for several months in 2027, and teach the course online in Spring 2028

Qualifications

• Adjunct lecturers must complete mandated training by deadline.
• Lecturers may work from any location and teach online.
• Adjunct appointment is for faculty teaching less than full-time at USC.

Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum with instructional designers for LAW-879, Sports Law & Representation.
• Teach the online course during Spring 2028 (Jan–Apr 2028).
• Grade assignments timely and communicate with students.
• Commit to ~10–15 hours/week of instructional work across several months.
