Job summary

University at Buffalo invites qualified, part-time Adjunct Instructors to teach DSW, MSW and undergraduate students via Brightspace. You will develop syllabi, deliver online and in-person content, and participate in fall and spring meetings to support student learning and professional ethics.

Successful candidates will possess a MSW or higher (DSW preferred for certain tracks), and relevant social work experience. Prior online teaching and familiarity with LMS are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of relevant social work experience post-MS W degree.
• Knowledge of APA reference citation style.
• For the DSW program: Doctorate degree.
• For the MSW & Undergraduate program: MSW/M.A. in Social Work or closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Teach course content using master course syllabi and develop a full syllabus.
• Utilize Brightspace learning management system for instruction.
• Familiarize with TI-HR curriculum to foster student skills and knowledge.
• Attend fall and spring meetings in person or virtually.
• Collaborate respectfully across beliefs and backgrounds to support students.
• Uphold Social Work ethics and the School's mission and values.
• Collaborate with students and school administration to support learning.
