The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the field (or a terminal degree) and has strong computer skills (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and excellent communication skills. Schedules may include after-hours work and weekends.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the field is required to teach undergraduate courses OR a terminal degree in the field of study or closely related is required to teach graduate courses.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Position will require work after business hours and on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Teach three semester credit hours per 7-week term in fully online competency-based education format.
• Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours and provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments.
• Facilitate courses by adhering to the standard course syllabus provided by the Associate Director of Academic Programs.
• Assess grades based on standard course materials, competencies, assessments, etc., as provided by the Associate Director of Academic Programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
