Job summary

Purdue University Global is seeking an Academic Program Head for the Anamosa program. The role reports to the Associate Dean and ensures quality nursing education, clinical partnerships, and student success across sites.

The head will supervise faculty, simulation staff, and clinical coordinators onsite 3–4 days weekly. Ideal candidates have an MSN or higher, with 3–5 years in post-secondary education and a CNE pathway to completion within a year; a Doctoral degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires Masters in Nursing or higher.
• 3-5 years in post-secondary education; online instruction a plus.
• CNE certification to be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Onsite 3-4 days per week in Anamosa, IA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program location direct reports (Faculty, Simulation Operations Specialist, NCLEX Mentor, Clinical Coordinator).
• Serve as liaison to state BON and attend BON meetings.
• Manage student contracts/compliance; lead clinical site onboarding/training programs.
• Develop and maintain clinical partnerships; coordinate with Business Development Management.
• Ensure quality learning experiences, including NCLEX-RN prep and course monitoring.
