Qualifications

• Doctorally prepared (PhD or DNP) preferred; MSN-prepared candidates may be considered for select clinical courses
• Actively engaged in clinical practice
• Current unencumbered RN license in compact state
• A minimum of 1 year of successful online teaching experience for courses from an accredited university at the graduate level
• Communication and taking a lead role in multi-level problem solving with students, Wilkes University administration and staff
• Proven ability to engage students in active learning to meet required course and program outcomes
• Experience with learning management systems (LMSs); D2L / Brightspace preferred

• Teach online Graduate Nursing courses in the NP and DNP programs
• Maintain active clinical practice and professional engagement
