Position Details

We are currently looking for a freelance Navajo language tutor for one of our clients in Canberra (AUS - AEST)

• Total Hours: 10 (ten)
• Session length: one hour (sixty minutes)
• Location: by Zoom video-conference
• Student: 65 y/o gentleman
• Current language Level: Elementary
• Schedule: once per week, either on Sunday at 8 AM,Saturday at 8 AM orWednesdayat 12noon (Australian Eastern Standard Time - flexible)
• Start Date: as soon as possible
• Student's Motivation: love of NativeAmerican cultures, interest in WWII code talkers; challenging my brain to learn new skills. I love the complexity and novel features of Diné Bizaad and want to extend my ability to learn.

Ideal Candidate

• Be a native Navajo speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
