Muhlenberg College is seeking an Adjunct Professor for their Graduate and Continuing Education (GCE) program. This part-time position focuses on teaching in the MBA program, requiring expertise in areas such as accounting, marketing, and finance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging students in synchronous online classes and developing course materials, while promoting an inclusive learning environment. A terminal degree is preferred, along with relevant teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a master’s degree; Ph.D. preferred.
• Relevant professional experience in the academic field.
• Prior teaching at the college/university level preferred.
• Familiarity with digital learning methods and technology preferred.
• Commitment to liberal arts education ideals.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive academic and professional environment.
• Successful completion of background checks including education verification.

Responsabilités

• Fully responsible for all aspects of course instruction.
• Facilitate course instruction in accordance with College objectives.
• Actively engage students in class sessions.
• Network with and advise students regarding careers.
• Evaluate student performance based on deliverables.
• Assign final grades using Workday.
• Develop and maintain course materials and syllabi.
• Collaborate with Digital Learning Team for online delivery.
• Participate in College training and faculty meetings.
