Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana invites applications for Online Adjunct Faculty to deliver courses entirely online in 8-week terms, with some 16-week exceptions. These positions are filled per semester as needed and adhere to the Out of State Workers Policy requiring residence in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan or Ohio.

Responsibilities include facilitating learning, maintaining student records, using technology to enhance instruction, and adapting lesson plans while upholding FERPA

Qualifications

Unofficial transcripts required as part of the application process.
Official transcripts required upon hiring.
Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction and meet faculty credentials as outlined in ASOM 7.1 for the specific area(s) of instruction.

Responsibilities

Deliver assigned classes online in accordance with college policy and course objectives.
Engage with students proactively and assess their learning progress.
Maintain accurate student records and grades.
Use technology to enhance instructional methods and adapt lesson plans as needed.
Comply with FERPA and college policies in all interactions with students.
