Boston University Virtual is seeking an Educational Media Producer to craft immersive multimedia course elements that support faculty teaching initiatives. You will collaborate closely with BUV multimedia producers to tell engaging stories for virtual courses and learning content.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years in educational media production, strong Adobe skills, and a passion for inventive media solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Multimedia/Visual Communications, TV Production, Graphic Design, or related field.
• 3–5 years of educational media production experience; mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Illustrator.
• Advanced experience with AI tools to create engaging digital content.
• Proficiency with professional cameras, lighting, and audio.
• Experience leading in-studio and on-location recording sessions.
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills.
• Excellent editorial judgment and ability to provide feedback.

Responsabilités

• Create and produce compelling multimedia course elements in collaboration with media producer colleagues, project partners, faculty, and course authors.
• Conceive, create and edit video, audio, graphics, animations, interactive media and all digital elements to support course content.
• Lead in-studio and on-location recordings, with expertise working with professional studio and field cameras, lighting and audio.
• Ensure all multimedia content meets accessibility standards, including captions, transcripts & descriptive audio.
• Optimize multimedia content for implementation into learning management systems.
