Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• North Carolina Science 9-12 teaching license required.
• 3+ years teaching experience preferred.
• Experience teaching in a virtual/remote setting preferred.
• Familiarity with learning management systems such as Canvas.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lessons aligned with NC science standards.
• Maintain accurate student records and assessments.
• Participate in professional development and stay updated on science standards.
• Engage with parents, colleagues, and the community to support student success.
• Support HS program through field trips, conferences, and events.
• Active member of the HS Science Department PLC.
