Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a high-quality, state-certified high school math teacher for the North Carolina Virtual Academy (NCVA). The role is primarily remote with periodic travel for state testing and professional development.

A base salary of $50,000 plus eligibility for a performance bonus is offered, pending credentials and NC residency. The Teacher will deliver content online, monitor student progress via Stride K12's LMS, and work closely with families to meet individual learning goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and active state teaching license.
Must reside in North Carolina and have North Carolina teaching certification.
Experience with online/virtual teaching platforms and technology.
Ability to travel approximately 20% for face-to-face activities.
Experience with Stride K12 or similar LMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
Personalize learning for all students and differentiate instruction.
Maintain grade book and monitor student progress and testing.
Communicate with families/learning coaches regularly.
Travel for professional development and testing approximately 20% of time.
