Job summary

Front Range Community College is seeking a part-time instructor for the Public Services department to teach Elementary Education online courses (e.g., EDU 2211, EDU 2341, EDU 2401, EDU 2611). Courses are delivered primarily online, with occasional hybrid/synchronous options.

You will work independently and with peers to design engaging curricula serving a diverse student population. You will apply technology and proven teaching strategies to promote student retention and success, and teaching

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education or a related field required.
• A Master’s degree in any field plus 18 graduate credit hours in Education also qualifies.

Responsibilities

• Teach online Elementary Education coursework at multiple levels (certificate and transfer).
• Deliver asynchronous instruction and occasionally hybrid/synchronous/in-person opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curricula meeting a diverse student population.
• Utilize technology and effective teaching strategies to develop students’ critical thinking skills.
• Adapt course assignments based on needs of the department and available hours.
