Stride, Inc. seeks a dedicated teacher for the K12 Private Academy to deliver online instruction and support students and families. This full-time, remote position requires 40+ hours weekly, a professional home office, and regular coordination with parents/learning coaches to meet learning goals.

The role emphasizes engaging both synchronous and asynchronous lessons, data-driven instruction, and attendance at occasional in-person events. A state teaching license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and active state teaching license.
• Ability to clear required background check.
• Experience with online learning platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provides rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
• Personalizes learning for all students.
• Differentiates instruction based on student level of mastery.
• Maintains grade book and communicates student progress to families and administrators.
• Regularly communicates with learning coaches/parents and responds in a timely manner.
• Travels for face-to-face professional development, testing, and school needs as required.
