Job summary

South College Online seeks a Full-Time Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program Faculty member. Candidates must hold a DNP from a regionally accredited institution, demonstrate expertise in advanced nursing practice and higher education, and be committed to excellence in teaching, student success, scholarship, and service within an online CBE environment.

Qualifications

Earned a terminal DNP from a regionally accredited institution.
Current, unencumbered RN license required; NLC active.
Experience teaching online, competency-based education preferred.
Commitment to student success, scholarship, and service.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate commitment to the principles of competency-based education (CBE).
Facilitate student progression through CBE curricula with timely feedback.
Maintain regular faculty-student engagement through coaching and academic support.
Monitor student participation using LMS analytics and intervene when needed.
Grade formative and summative assessments within established timelines.
Collaborate to develop, review, and maintain CBE curriculum and assessments.
Support students through all phases of the educational experience.
