Job summary

The Chicago School invites qualified individuals to supervise doctoral dissertation research for the Online Campus. Responsibilities include guiding proposals, defending oral proposals, IRB support, data collection oversight, and final dissertation defense participation.

Ideal candidates have a Doctoral degree in Psychology or International Psychology, with online teaching experience and demonstrated scholarly engagement. Training in online pedagogy is required before teaching.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology or International Psychology.
• Previous online teaching experience (3 years preferred).
• Exemplary professional experience.
• Engagement in research and scholarship (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise the dissertation research studies of doctoral students and approve proposals.
• Assist students in development of oral proposal defense and participate in virtual defenses.
• Support IRB applications and supervise data collection for research studies.
• Guide chapters 4 and 5 and the final dissertation defense; attend virtual defenses.
• Participate in weekly discussion forums and post course-related announcements.
• Grade quizzes and provide timely feedback; respond to student emails within 24 hours.
• Issue final grades on schedule after Week 7 ends.
• Complete the required 8-week online pedagogy training before teaching assigned courses.
