Job summary

Texas A&M International University seeks qualified applicants to join its pool of part-time Adjunct Faculty in Communications for online instruction. Successful candidates may teach up to six (6) semester credit hours online per term, hold office hours, and assist students as needed.

Required: Master's degree in Communication; doctorate in Communication preferred and prior college-level teaching and online teaching experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communication required.
• Doctorate in Communication preferred.
• Online teaching experience and collegiate teaching experience are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to six (6) semester credit hours online as needed.
• Hold office hours for online students.
• Assist students and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Teach within the Communications discipline online as dictated by demand.
