Job summary

Rasmussen University is seeking an online, part-time Adjunct Faculty member to teach Civil Litigation. You will guide students through pleadings, discovery, and trial prep, consulting with a Dean as needed.

Strong English communication and teaching experience are essential, with the option to work remotely (excluding CO residents). The role includes staying current with curriculum, providing timely feedback, and participating in professional development.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Legal Studies or JD is required.
  • Experience in civil litigation is preferred (2–3 years).
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to teach remotely with online tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with students and dean/school staff regarding feedback and performance.
  • Be available for students via phone, email, and scheduled appointments.
  • Respond timely to performance or accreditation requests from faculty/administration.
  • Maintain professional behavior, language, and appearance at all times.
  • Attend faculty meetings and contribute to program development when needed.
