Online Business Manager (OBM) – AI Startup

Role Summary

We’re looking for a proactive, tech-savvy Online Business Manager (OBM) to manage projects, coordinate across teams, and serve as the operational backbone of the company. You’ll work closely with the founder, clients, and product teams to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

* Own day-to-day operations across internal and client projects

* Manage timelines, tasks, and team accountability using ClickUp or Notion

* Serve as the point of contact between marketing, product, customer support, and leadership

* Handle client communications and follow-ups when required

* Create SOPs, project trackers, and documentation

* Manage onboarding/offboarding of tools, logins, and team access

* Assist with hiring workflows and team coordination

* Provide weekly reporting on project status and metrics

* Identify bottlenecks and proactively solve problems

Tools You Must Know

* Project Management: ClickUp (or Asana/Notion/Trello), Slack

* Documentation & SOPs: Notion, Google Workspace

* CRM / Customer: HubSpot or Pipedrive (nice to have)

* Marketing Ops: Canva, Mailchimp, Zapier (basic workflows)

* Basic Tech Comfort: Loom, ChatGPT, scheduling tools, Zoom, LinkedIn

* Bonus: Understanding of AI tools like OpenAI, Claude, or AI coaching/chatbot platforms

Requirement

* 3+ years as an OBM, project manager, or operations lead

* Experience in a startup or digital marketing agency (non-negotiable)

* Strong written and verbal communication

Skills

* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and good at follow-through

* Comfort with tech and learning new tools fast

* Availability during U.S. time zones for team syncs and client communication

* Able to juggle multiple projects and drive outcomes independently
