Job summary

University of New England is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member for the College of Professional Studies to teach Biology I in online programs. The role involves mentoring, timely instruction, and collaboration with the SPHP program, under UNE Online guidance.

Responsibilities include online class facilitation, timely responses, and regular virtual office hours, with emphasis on student success and quality education. Prior online teaching and curriculum development are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching online in an educational setting.
• Expertise in curriculum development and assessment.
• Passion for teaching Biology.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert and graduate level knowledge in Biology I.
• Guide students through their educational experience and CPS commitment to student success.
• Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours.
• Facilitate online instruction by engaging in the course portal at least 5 times per week.
• Host a minimum of one hour of virtual office hours per week.
• Demonstrate excellent collaborative and communication skills.
• Willingness to analyze best practices in online Biology I education.
