Qualifications

• PhD or terminal degree in subject.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in remote environments.
• Proficiency with technology and online education tools.

Responsibilities

• Teach key areas of biomedical science, including cell biology, molecular biology, and biochemistry, as they relate to human health.
• Describe and integrate concepts across biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, and physiology.
• Help students develop a focused research question and communicate findings in writing and presentation.
• Deliver online instruction in accelerated eight-week courses using Canvas LMS.
• Develop and maintain course materials, lectures, objectives, syllabi, and assessments.
• Design and administer examinations to evaluate learning objectives.
• Create an engaging online learning environment through innovative teaching methods.
• Provide academic guidance, mentorship, and timely feedback to students.
• Participate in curriculum development and program evaluation.
• Collaborate with program leadership to support student success.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
