Job summary

East Texas A&M University in Commerce, Texas is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach in the CID Core Curriculum using a fully online competency-based education format. Teach three semester credit hours per 7-week term, respond to student inquiries within 24 hours, provide timely feedback, and adhere to the standard syllabus from the Associate Director of Academic Programs.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the field, or a terminal degree.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach three semester credit hours per 7-week term in online competency-based format.
• Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours and provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments.
• Facilitate courses by adhering to the standard syllabus from the Associate Director of Academic Programs.
• Assess grades based on the standard course materials, competencies, assessments, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
