Job summary

Dominican University’s Brennan School of Business seeks a part-time Adjunct Faculty member to teach Financial Reporting II (ACCT 714-01) during the Fall 2026 semester. This graduate-level course is a required course in the Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) program and provides students with an in-depth examination of financial reporting concepts and practices.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Accounting or MBA with a concentration in accounting from an AACSB accredited institution.
CPA licensure.
Recent professional experience in financial reporting, auditing, corporate accounting, or a closely related field.
Demonstrated expertise in financial accounting concepts and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

Deliver course instruction consistent with the approved syllabus and learning outcomes.
Prepare instructional materials, assignments, and assessments appropriate to the discipline.
Foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment that supports student success.
Submit grades and required academic records accurately and on time.
Maintain reasonable availability to students, including scheduled office hours.
Respond to student communications in a timely manner.
Administer course evaluations.
Follow university academic policies and student accommodation procedures.
Coordinate with the Associate Dean and the Department Chair regarding course delivery and academic matters.
