Responsibilities

• Provides dedicated one-on-one support to student(s) with mild to moderate disabilities, assisting with academic tasks, behavior management, and social-emotional development in alignment with the student's IEP.
• Communicates with parents for the purpose of scheduling meetings and taking messages for special education teachers.
• Monitors individual students in classrooms, school and community for the purpose of providing a safe and positive learning environment.
• Implements under the supervision of the teacher instructional behavioral programs to support the teacher and improve students' academic success.
