Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System in Sarasota, FL seeks an Occupational Therapist to facilitate functional outcomes through purposeful activities and individualized treatment plans. You will assess patients, determine illness acuity, and plan and direct the therapy program to maximize independence.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, have EMR experience, and hold FL OT licensure; BLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• For employees assigned to dedicated orthopedic team:- Require successful completion of Annual Orthopedic education requirements upon hire and then annually as outlined in the Orthopedic Program(s) Education plan.
• Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, identify acuity level, and plan the treatment program.
• Implement and direct the therapy program to maximize independence.
• Collaborate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes.
