Job summary

Giving Home Health Care in Metropolis, IL is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to support patients in their homes according to physician plans.

The role is a 1099 contract with 4 hours per week, ideal for PRN part-time work. CPR, First Aid, and TB testing are required, and prior home health or clinical care experience is preferred. Compensation ranges from $15 to $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Current CPR, First Aid, and 2-Step TB Test.
• Experience in clinical care or home health preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist patients.

Responsibilities

• Executes physician prescribed plans of care and compliant documentation of care provided in system of record.
• Administers prescribed treatments, and therapies.
• Performs patient assessments, coordination of care.
• Performs various activities associated with daily living, communications, and monitoring of vitals while working at the patient’s home.
• Will be working with patients in a comfortable environment where the service is one-on-one.
• Communicates with family members, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health of patients.
• Performs other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs.
