Job summary

Assisting Hands of East Charlotte is seeking compassionate CNAs to provide in-home care to clients in Matthews, NC and nearby communities. You will work one-on-one with clients, assisting with personal care, meals, mobility, and engaging activities.

This role emphasizes reliability, following care plans with minimal supervision. We offer full-time and part-time openings, a flexible schedule, pay of $16–$18 per hour, and training and development to grow with a veteran-owned agency.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina CNA certification or PCA is required.
• Reliable transportation is preferred to service clients
• Must demonstrate consistent availability and a strong attendance record
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions independently and with care

Responsibilities

• Companionship, conversation, and activities to keep clients engaged
• Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Running errands and accompanying clients to appointments
• Documenting each visit and reporting changes promptly
