Job summary

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a dedicated individual to provide daily one-on-one or group instruction and assistance to patients. You will assist with program activities, monitor client behaviors, and document data while promoting independence and engagement in therapeutic activities.

Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one or group instruction/assistance to patients on a daily basis.
Complete routine daily checks of vehicle if driving is required and report deficiencies to supervisor.
Monitor and maintain data collection sheets and submit to supervisor in a timely manner.
Assist with assessment of clients' strengths and needs as necessary.
Assist with preparation of clients' meals and provide client training as needed.
Communicate with supervisor to revise, delete, or add training objectives.
Maintain facility in a neat and orderly manner.
Monitor and document individual behaviors using specific terms.
Encourage independence and participation in activities.
Provide positive assurance regarding benefits of treatment and participation.
Promote a therapeutic learning environment through hands-on instruction.
