Job summary

Southcoast Health seeks a fellowship-trained Breast Surgeon to join our nationally accredited Breast Care Center in southeastern Massachusetts. You will diagnose and treat benign and malignant breast disease, perform a full spectrum of breast surgeries, and collaborate across medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, and genetics teams.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Fellowship trained in Breast Surgery (SSO or ASBrS)
• Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat benign and malignant breast disease
• Perform a full spectrum of breast surgical procedures
• Interest and expertise in oncoplastic breast surgery preferred
• Collaborate with medical and radiation oncology, radiology, pathology, genetics, and supportive care teams
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and breast cancer conferences
• Utilize advanced surgical techniques and evidence-based practices
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining clinical excellence
