Job summary
Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to lead the daily clinical operations of the Oncology Urgent Care Clinic in Illinois. You will serve as a key resource for oncology patients needing urgent evaluation and treatment, helping reduce ED visits while ensuring timely access to cancer care.

Qualifications
- Active IL RN license.
- APN or PA licensure in Illinois.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- ACLS certification.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary oncology team.
Responsibilities
- Provide same-day evaluation and management of acute oncology symptoms and treatment-related side effects.
- Assess patients and develop treatment plans with oncologists.
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostics.
- Deliver symptom management and supportive care.
- Coordinate care across the oncology team.
- Support chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation, targeted therapies and postoperative cancer care.
- Improve patient access and reduce unnecessary ED visits.
