Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in Florida (state license required).
• Hematology/Oncology experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Triage experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person triage and clinical support to oncology patients receiving chemotherapy/infusion treatments.
• Assess patients for treatment-related symptoms and side effects; perform nursing evaluations.
• Educate patients and coordinate with providers to determine interventions and follow-up care.
• Document all assessments, communications, and care plans accurately in the EMR.
• Coordinate care across the multidisciplinary team and assist with clinical decision-making to ensure safe, timely treatment.
