Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL is seeking an Oncology Technician for the MCC 4S dayshift to assist with daily living activities and basic nursing care for oncology patients. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in a safe, clean environment and support adherence to regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, Basic Life Support and CNA credentials, and demonstrated communication, organization and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and CNA credentials required or in progress per policy.
• Must submit nursing program transcripts and be enrolled as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and basic nursing care for oncology patients.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment under RN supervision.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and accrediting bodies.
