Job summary

Fortrea is seeking an Oncology Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) 2 with 5+ years of monitoring experience, preferably in oncology and early phase trials, based in the Midwest region. The role requires 30–50% overnight travel and involves high-standard patient safety, protocol compliance, and data integrity across trials.

You will monitor sites, perform visits, ensure informed consent, manage data quality, and support project teams as a local contact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or nursing licensure (or related allied health certification).
• 5+ years of clinical monitoring experience.
• Oncology experience, early phase preferred.
• Willingness to travel 30–50%.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of site monitoring, including routine monitoring, initiation and close-out visits, and documentation.
• Oversee site management per project plans and liaise with vendors as needed.
• Ensure proper consent procedures and protocol adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Verify data integrity on CRFs and other data collection tools.
• Coordinate feasibility work and assist with local project coordination as required.
• Support training of new staff and act as a local client contact when assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
