Job summary

Fortrea is seeking an Oncology Sr. CRA 2 with 5+ years of monitoring experience to support oncology trials in a predominantly US-based setting with significant travel. The role includes site monitoring, data integrity oversight, SAE reporting, and collaboration with project teams.

Strong clinical judgment and regulatory knowledge are essential to ensure protocol compliance and patient safety. Ideal candidates will have a university or allied health degree and experience in early-phase trials,

Qualifications

5+ years of Clinical Monitoring experience
Oncology experience, early phase preferred
30-50% overnight travel requirement

Responsibilities

Monitor and close-out clinical sites; maintain study files; conduct pre-study and initiation visits; liaise with vendors.
Manage site activities per project plans and ensure proper materials and instructions for protocol adherence.
Conduct general on-site monitoring and ensure investigators obtain requisite materials for patient enrollment.
Verify informed consent procedures and protocol compliance; ensure data integrity in CRFs and data tools.
Assist with training of new staff; coordinate Local Project Coordinator duties and act as local client contact when assigned.
Perform SAE reporting and ensure accurate data queries and resolution.
