Job summary

Texas Oncology, part of the US Oncology Network, is seeking a Scheduling Supervisor to coordinate scheduling across McKinney South and Allen locations. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5pm, with no weekends or holidays.

The position emphasizes supervising scheduling staff, liaising with physicians and office staff, and ensuring accurate patient information entry and schedule integrity across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum seven years office experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities of all scheduling duties.
• Obtains all information necessary to enter a new patient in system, including demographics and insurance details.
• Maintains scheduling guidelines coordinating physician, lab and chemotherapy schedules.
• Coordinates scheduling procedures with front office, medical staff, insurance and billing.
• Trains new employees in scheduling department and updates procedures.
• Supervises daily charge ticket and chart preparation per physician specifications.
• Assists in supervising schedulers and non-licensed patient care staff.
