Job summary

Messino Cancer Centers in North Carolina seeks an experienced RN to provide safe, accurate patient care, including chemotherapy administration, lab review, dose verification, and coordination with the multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes patient education, thorough EMR documentation, and adherence to JBIs. Flexibility for travel across locations and overtime is required; use of ONS guidelines is expected.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of employment or multistate license.
• OCN certification.
• CPR and BLS certifications.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle to travel to other clinic locations.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, and other agents per physician orders.
• Educate patients and caregivers about medications, side effects, and treatment plans.
• Document treatment in EMR accurately and ensure charges reflect administered care.
• Perform patient triage calls and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with laws, policies, and JBIs.
