Job summary

Corewell Health's Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids seeks a Registered Nurse for the 5 South Oncology unit. You will provide bedside nursing care on a 36-hour weekly schedule, including night shifts, to Oncology patients and their families. The role emphasizes teamwork, education, and compassionate care in a 30-bed unit.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license in Michigan with an Associate's degree (or higher) and ONCC certification within 1 year. BLS is required within 90 days.

Qualifications

Associates in Nursing required.
Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years.
MI Registered Nurse (RN) required.
AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days.
Oncology Nursing Certification (ONCC) required within 1 year.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care per ANA standards using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
Uphold standards of professional performance including ethics, cultural congruence, communication, collaboration and education.
Deliver care to oncology patients and their families, including education and support.
