Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care at St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT. The successful candidate will coordinate with the health care team and supervise LPNs/CNAs.

The RN must be licensed in the practice state, commit to BSN within 4 years if starting with an ASN/ADN, and hold current BLS-HCP certification with potential for ACLS/PALS as unit needs require.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• RN license in the state of practice is required.
• RN with ASN/ADN must complete BSN within four years from hire unless 15 years of RN experience in acute care.
• BLS-HCP certification on hire or within 60 days of hire; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' physical and psychological needs.
• Foster quality care with patients' best interests in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively with patients and families.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs and participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital guidelines, policies and procedures and document care.
