Job summary

The VIOS Clinic is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process and ensure accountability for care outcomes. Responsibilities include performing port draws, labs, rooming, and clinic procedures, with emphasis on safety, patient education, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school, knowledge of nursing principles, medications, patient education, safety practices, and relevant procedures.
• Not required; oncology experience preferred; CPR certification or obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care delivered by others.
• Coordinates patient care with various departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and performs duties consistent with mission, values, and standards.
