Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking an RN Oncology at the Montgomery Cancer Center to provide direct and indirect patient care in the infusion treatment area or clinic. You will perform patient assessments, administer medications, respond to reactions, educate patients, document care, and assist providers as needed.

Requirements include an active RN license, BLS, and a Bachelor's degree preferred, with at least 1 year of critical care or oncology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, Chemo, TNCC, etc. may be required depending upon area assigned.
• 1 year critical care or oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in infusion or clinic.
• Perform patient assessment and medication administration.
• Respond to reactions and educate patients.
• Document care and assist providers as needed.
• Supervise and train employees as needed.
