Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center, part of BJC HealthCare in the St. Louis area, seeks an RN to provide direct patient care across medical services. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care with a focus on safety and quality.

The role supports the BJC RN Career Ladder, enabling professional development and advancement while maintaining compassionate patient care. Nights, 3-12 hour shifts, every 3rd weekend/holiday, and orientation tailored to individual needs are offered.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Educate patients and families on illness, treatment and home care needs.
• Promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develop, implement and document care plans with the interprofessional team.
• Communicate plan of care across the continuum of care.
