Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The role provides direct patient care Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:30pm with no weekends or holidays, and requires nursing licensure and BLS.

The position carries a $5,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs and requires 3–5 years in acute care; oncology experience is preferred. You will collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, effective nursing care.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Licenses: Registered Nurse license (state) and BLS certification.
• Experience: 3–5 years nursing in acute care required; oncology exp. preferred.
• Knowledge/abilities: patient care basics, confidentiality, medical terminology, communication, triage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications and monitor for reactions.
• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate care.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient response and condition.
