Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in Iowa required.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide total patient care through the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and guide patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel.
• Maintain professional nursing standards as per Iowa Board of Nursing.
• Accurately document findings and outcomes in the patient’s electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team; act as patient advocate.
• Monitor patient condition, report changes, and ensure orders are followed.
• Assist with in-office patient care and prepare charts and records as indicated.
